Make A Splash

 

In the few places I have called home, I have never lived more than an hour away from the beach...until now. 

I have to admit, It's been an adjustment. I definitely feel land-locked! 

So when I need a break, or just a "mind dump", my thoughts instantly wander to the beach. 

  

 

I recently had the good fortune of taking a small vacation. Need I say I went straight to the beach?! I also met up with several dearly missed friends. It was amazing! I actually relaxed! I cleared my mind for a short time while listening to island music. The warm sunshine, ocean breezes and deep appreciation for one of God's mighty masterpieces...sunsets over the ocean!

 

 

 

My relaxing vacation was the inspiration for creating my card using "Jennie Poolside" 

Although I didn't stay at the pool much, I decided to use this sweet image because Jennie looks very relaxed by the water, as was I!

 

 

 

It was also an opportunity for me to play with my new "Blue Sandy Summer" Digi Papers. 

 

With all the fun in the sun and laughs with fabulous friends...I can surely say that we made a splash!
