Blessings...
October is a time for crisp cool air, falling leaves, football games, cozy sweaters, warm socks, cuddly blankets, and all things pumpkin! Can you think of some other October favorites? How about apple cider, Fall Festivals, hayrides, and Halloween?!
But aside from all the fun things that October brings, it's also a month dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness, and, at least for me, the beginning of the Holiday Season. It's the time of year that always brings with it, moments of reflection, counted blessings, and a greater opportunity to be the difference in someone's life.
Often that difference could be something as simple as a smile, a hug, a kind word, a strong shoulder, or even a handmade card.
Moments of Reflection...
In my moments of reflection, I shuffled through all of my images, looking for some inspiration for my next project. I thought about those that have made a difference in my life...you know...the people who stand out above all others. Is there someone who comes to your mind that has been that difference for you? Or maybe, you already are the difference in someone's life. I'm sure that person is so thankful for you!
A Happy Heart...
In my search for just the right image, my sweet "Anaya & Shanaya" digi stamp jumped out at me. These two little, adorbs instantly reminded me of a wonderful, long-time friend of mine. I'm pretty sure I was thinking of her when I first created this image.
With BIG warm hugs, and a contagious laugh, she is the friend that is as happy to see me whether we were together five minutes ago, a week, a month or even a year or more...the response is always the same...just genuine, loving, unconditional friendship!
My sweet friend is truly a Happy Heart!
Thankful For You
I wanted to use this digi image to make my card, for all of the reasons I mentioned earlier..the season of Autumn, Genuine Friendship, Pink accents for Breast Cancer Awareness, Counted Blessings, and...to be the Difference!
As you can see, my Digi Doodles are, for the most part, fully adaptable, and although I have created each and every one of them with a purpose...it is by your imagination and creativity that gives them meaning for your specific purpose.
