A Sun-Shiney Day

A Sun-Shiney Day

Summer breeze, light fluffy clouds... Mother Nature has a canvas for every season. ~Terri Guillemets

Happy July!
The Summer months always bring found thoughts, and hope, of spending time off by the water, specifically the beach for me.

Today I am excited to stop by to share a "Sun-Shiney" handmade card I created using one of my favorite beach girls, "Vivienne" !

Vivienne is super fun to color, and to work with! I've seen her colored with many different hair colors, and I have to say, each one is just as beautiful as the next.
Today I decided to use soft colors for my beach card (supply list below)...I am actually partial to any colors associated with the beach!

I used a few background papers for this card to introduce a little touch of whimsy to the sky and palm trees. I also hand colored the sand with Copic markers to create some texture...which, I have to admit, was way too much fun!

Tip: Get comfortable with your tools and design choices.
Try not too over-think it...Just start and let your creativity take over. Once you feel comfortable, you can start having fun and truly enjoy the process!
