Under Your Spell

Just For Fun...
I may not dress up, or take the little ones out for Halloween anymore, and I definitely don't do scary, but I have to say, I just love all the vibrant Halloween colors of purple, oranges, greens, golds, and blacks. And...YES, I will almost always throw in a splash of pink somewhere, just for fun.

 Only Days Away..
Halloween is only days away and I'm still having way too much fun creating cute, and sometimes pretty, Halloween cards and decorations. I created these sweet Halloween bags using my Buncha Scraps Papers from my new  "Spooky Nights" digital scrapbook collection.

Let's Go Shopping...
I was shopping for Halloween candy, and goodies, this afternoon, and I as I walked through the stores, I was just amazed at the numerous varieties of candy available these days. Some were mixed, some were not. Some were huge, and some were small...and some of them I've never even heard of! I mean, seriously, how do you choose?!

I think my neighbor, and friend, got it right when she told me she likes to sit outside on her driveway, on Halloween night, with her popcorn maker, and pass out hot, fresh popcorn to the "Trick or Treaters" that walk by. It gives her a chance to meet, and talk, to the ones who stop for a moment. Not to mention, the whole neighborhood smells like popcorn...it's FABULOUS!  I might just have to join her this year.

Under Your Spell...
I chose my "Catrina Pussycat" Digi Stamp to work with this week. She is definitley not scary, or even a witch, but she, and her little sidekick, Kitty, are all about the spirit of Halloween.

My son's newly adopted little Calico kitty, Kali, "assisted" me as I toyed with different, possible card designs. Needless to say, paper, pencils, markers, and ribbons & things were flying on, around, and under my desk. Kali is so precious...except for when she is not! She can be so sweet and lovable one minute, and such a little stinker the next. I'm not sure what it is about her, but we are all definitley under her spell. We just love her to pieces...even when she is tearing up my studio. Today she was a stinker!

Well, even with little Kali's "help", I was finally able to finish my card!
I'm sure this will be my last Halloween card this year, but I sure did enjoy creating them this season!

Who's spell are you under...or should I ask...Who is under your spell?
Have a safe and Happy Halloween!
