You are the BRRRRRR-Y Best

 

Winter came early here this year, so it was easy for me to begin creating winter inspired projects. 

Arty Divas was kind enough to ask me to Guest Design for their Challenge Blog and I happily agreed. So,  

today I am sharing an adorable winter scene that I created using Be Sparkley & Cotton Tail.

When I looked at this sweet little winter duo, I knew I wanted to create a winter scene. I decided to create a shadow box with a few wintery layers. 

 I printed out my digi stamp image on white card stock and colored it with Copic Markers (supply list below).

 

 

 

It was the perfect opportunity to use my new Winter Plaids N' Patterns Digi Paper Pack. I printed out the 8x8 designs, but they are available in 6x6 too if you like to work smaller!

 

I used the plaids for the sides and front of the shadowbox to coordinate with the colors of my Be Sparkly & Cotton Tail.

 

I also cut out the plaid paper for a few of the trees seen inside of my winter scene. I thought it looked great up against the white snow drifts.

  

 

For the back panel of my shadowbox, I created a sky using distressed oxide inks...

 

 

and added some brighter snow using a gel pen.

  

  

Then I die cut several white trees to add behind and around my scene. I added a cute sentiment from my "Snow Wishes" Sentiment Collection

I cut out a few snow flakes using the plaid paper, and a blue and gold ribbon, to tie my whole project together.

  

 

I dabbed some glimmer sparkle in various places and...my "You are the BRRRRRR-Y Best" winter scenes finished!
